We are a social golf & wellness lifestyle club connecting women in Hawai'i through the game of golf in a supportive & fun environment. This is an all skill levels, all ages club - all you need is to show up with a great attitude and ready to try new things! This is a club for newbie golf girls to the obsessed weekend warrior. There will be opportunities and events that cater to all experiences. We want to foster a network where women from all walks of life can connect with each other through mutual interests that revolve around being outdoors and golf, obvi ;)

We will be hosting events like Driving Range Socials, Range Clinics with local PGA Professionals, 18 Hole Tournaments, Group Outings, Par 3 Outings, Meetups for Simulator Golf @ Kona Golf Hale, Mental Game Coaching, Stay & Play Retreats, Yoga Classes, Swings & SUPS, Fitness for Golf, and SO Much More!

We are so excited to connect with you, make new friends, and build a badass community of women on the Big Island!

Our goal is to connect women from different communities across our island who are interested in or currently are obsessed with golf. We want to foster an environment that is supportive and isn't judgmental, because we all know it isn't about how good your swing looks but it's about who's having the MOST FUN! We are committed to growing the game in a fun and accessible way while creating & connecting a community of like-minded women!

Connecting women is the absolute core of the club. We want to connect women from ALL walks of life through the beautiful game of golf & shared mutual wellness interests.

This is a social based club, not a skill based one. You are welcome no matter your experience. We're here to make friends, make birdies, & yap!

Golf isn't just a man's world anymore, it's a new age babe! We want to inspire women to be able to step onto the golf course with confidence.

We are focused on creating a supportive & fun environment where women feel comfortable to try a new hobby. We will have opportunities for you to learn & grow in the game in a safe & exciting female dominated environment. Badass Energy Welcome.

Growth lies at the center of the golf game. Golf is hard. It's all about being vulnerable, controlling your emotions and putting yourself out there to try new experiences!

Growth in your golf game simply isn't about shaving strokes off your score, it's about the growth that occurs within yourself, and the growth and relationships that develop from joining the golf community.

We want to grow the game and make golf accessible for ALL women. There have been many long standing & ugly stereotypes about the golf community, and for good reason. Hell, they didn't even want women golfing for the first hundred years! Our goal is to change these stereotypes by creating an inclusive environment where all women feel welcomed on the course.

We will support Hawai'i owned businesses, female led/owned businesses, and small local businesses - ALWAYS.

In addition to paid events, we will offer free social events and free resources because not all golf should be behind a paywall.

We will donate 5% of ALL PROFITS from every major event to support local organizations that serve our Big Island community in a variety of ways. We will feature a different charity to support for each event!
- First Tee Hawai'i - supporting youth in golf in Hawai'i
- He Ho'omaka Hou Ana O'Puna - comprehensive support for the women of Puna
- Hope Services Hawai'i -serving the female community of Hawai'i in a multitude of ways
- Mauna Kea Education & Awareness - Supporting, educating & protecting the sacred Mauna a Wākea.

my story

Aloha, my name is Kassi Bissman

and I'm a washed up college athlete. After a string of reconstructive surgeries brought my D2 Volleyball career to an end, I thought I had hung up on the towel on being an athlete...until I found golf (well, golf found me honestly). I just wanted to get my dad & brother on the course the day after my wedding, I had no intention of even liking golf or trying it out. But alas, a few seltzers in the sunshine and a couple of connected swings later, I was hooked and golf took over my life within the next 6 months LOL.

Fast forward to 2023, I kept bothering my coach about wanting to join some sort of women's golf club or go to a fun event, and she kept coming back with

"there's literally nothing here like that. I don't know what to tell you."

So, I took that as the sign from above to create the golf club I had been so desperately begging to join. And poof! Mohala Golf Collective was born.
